You'll See, Catatan Madonna Untuk Para Perempuan

‘Something to Remember’ adalah album Madonna yang dirilis guna mengurangi citra Madonna, yang saat itu banyak dikritik. You'll See, sebuah balada pop akustik yang dilengkapi instrumentasi dari perkusi, gitar tremolo, dan piano, dipilih oleh Maverick Records sebagai lead single dari album ini. 

Lagu ini ditulis Madonna bersama David Foster yang sekaligus memproduserinya. Berkisah tentang perempuan yang berusaha keluar dari situasi yang tak nyaman karena hubungannya dengan lelaki yang menyakitinya. Apakah ini sebuah lagu tentang balas dendam? Kalau kata Madonna kepada NME: "No, it's about empowering yourself. As much as I like a song like 'Take A Bow,' lyrically it only reflects one side of my personality. I have that side which is completely masochistic and willing to, literally, do anything for love. But there's another side too which is – 'Don't f--k with me, I don't need anybody. I can do what I want' and 'You'll See' reflects that."

You'll See menerima sambutan positif dari para kritikus. Mereka memuji vokal Madonna. American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) mengganjar lagu ini sebagai The Most Performed Song dalam Penghargaan Pop ASCAP tahunan mereka tahun 1997. Secara komersial You'll See juga mendapat sukses, mencapai lima besar di Austria, Kanada, Finlandia, Italia, dan Inggris. Single ini juga berhasil hingga posisi enam di Billboard Hot 100 AS.
